Bryan Zarou
Born and raised on Long Island, Bryan began his career in the private sector, while also teaching a wide range of political science courses as an adjunct professor in New York City. Upon moving to Illinois, Bryan lead the policy team at Forefront, the statewide organization for philanthropy and nonprofits and was the sole representative to elected officials for the Illinois 501(c)3 sector. Bryan is now the Director of Policy for the Better Government Association, Illinois’ oldest watchdog and civic advocate. His accomplishments over the years have resulted in meaningful shifts to city, state, and federal policy. Furthermore, Bryan serves as an Adjunct Professor at Aurora University, lecturing courses in the Dunham School of Business and Public Policy. Bryan is also a freelance opinion columnist for the Chicago Tribune.
Bryan holds both a bachelors and masters in political science, from Wesley College and Long Island University, respectively.
