Paula Hajar

Paula Hajar is an educator. She has published numerous articles on Arab Americans, including in the Encyclopedia of New York City,The Gale Encyclopedia, and Culture Front, the magazine of the New York State Council on the Humanities. She has completed interviews of early Arab immigrants and their descendants, and helped curate “A Community of Many Worlds: Arab Americans in New York City” in 2002 and an exhibit on Little Syria in 2013. Today she works as a Professional Developer in Mathematics at the Bronx Charter School for Better Learning, a school she helped found in 2003.
