Tamer Mahmoud

Tamer Mahmoud is a life long Staten Islander and first generation Egyptian American. He is a graduate of Baruch College with a BBA in Finance and Wagner College with an MBA in International Business. Tamer’s current role is a Senior Negotiator at IPG Mediabrands. He has spent the past couple of years collaborating with both the Friends of the Lower West Side and the Washington Street Historical Society in seeking landmark designation for 105-107 Washington Street and 109 Washington Street, last vestiges of a once vibrant neighborhood. At the same time, he helped establish a partnership with Bowery Boys Walks where the Little Syria walking tour was added to their portfolio, ensuring the neighborhoods story is told on a national scale.
